Shawn Christopher Phillips was raised and grew up along the Texas Gulf Coast, and he served honorably as a US Navy combat veteran in the 7th Fleet. Upon returning from overseas he worked and served his beloved Bay Area community in varying capacities ranging from regional area communications, emergency medical technician, and compliance within the petro-chemical industry.
In his fifty plus years, Shawn has traveled to over half of the states in America and sixteen different countries, but he freely chooses to make and call the Galveston Bay Area his home. Aside from being an avid outdoorsman into hunting, fishing, and camping, Shawn also has a strong working knowledge of the area, its people, and attractions.
